Description

The Seren is a 3-light pendant built around an open oval frame in brushed satin nickel, with three upright E14 bulb fittings arranged vertically within the cage. The frame measures 25.5cm across and 42cm tall, forming a tall, narrow silhouette that reads as vertical rather than wide when suspended. The satin nickel finish is brushed to a low-sheen surface that diffuses reflections and sits neutrally alongside stainless steel appliances, polished chrome taps and light-toned stone worktops.

Designed for kitchens, entrance halls and dining areas where a single pendant provides accent lighting over a small round table or console, the Seren works in ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The exposed bulb arrangement means the light output and visual character depend entirely on the choice of E14 bulb — filament-style candle bulbs give a decorative glow, while frosted LED candles provide cleaner task light. Each bulb fitting accepts up to 40W, giving a combined maximum of 120W across the three lamps.

The frame hangs from a central rod and matching satin nickel ceiling canopy, with the chain run concealed within the suspension rod. The 2kg weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or supporting noggin, or a plasterboard fixings rated to carry the load. The oval geometry of the frame creates visual interest without adding bulk, making the fitting suitable for narrower spaces where a wide drum pendant would overwhelm. The pendant takes three SES E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Frosted LED candles provide clean task light, while clear filament candles give a more decorative appearance when the bulbs are visible.

The 42cm height of the fitting itself suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. If the pendant is being installed over a table or console, allow 700-800mm clearance between the table surface and the bottom of the frame to avoid head strikes.

Is the Seren dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs you choose and the dimmer switch installed. LED E14 candle bulbs marked as 'dimmable' will work with most modern LED-compatible dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer circuit.

How is the pendant installed?
