Description
The Selia is a 20cm-diameter table lamp built around a cluster of laser-cut chrome panels arranged in an angular, geometric composition, with cascading crystal rods suspended beneath the metallic shade. A single E14 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the chrome structure, casting light through the gaps between panels and through the vertical crystal strands below.
Designed for bedside tables, console surfaces and lounge side tables where decorative lighting is needed without taking up floor space, the Selia stands 39.5cm tall on a compact chrome disc base with a 20cm footprint. The lamp provides accent lighting rather than task illumination — the openwork chrome shade and crystal rods diffuse and reflect light across multiple surfaces rather than projecting a strong beam.
The mirror-polished chrome finish on both the panels and base reflects surrounding colours and light sources, so the lamp takes on different tones depending on room lighting and wall colour. The crystal rods beneath the shade add vertical movement and catch ambient light even when the lamp is switched off. At 3.2kg, the lamp has enough weight to sit securely on most surfaces without needing additional anchoring.
The geometric panel arrangement gives the Selia a sculptural quality that works in both contemporary and transitional interiors. The chrome-and-crystal pairing suits bedrooms, entrance hallways and living rooms where layered lighting is used alongside ceiling fittings and floor lamps.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Selia takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting.
Is it suitable as a reading lamp?
Not ideally. The openwork chrome shade and crystal rods diffuse light in multiple directions rather than directing it to a reading position. The Selia works better as accent or decorative lighting alongside a dedicated reading lamp or ceiling fitting.
How is the chrome finish maintained?
Mirror-polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust more readily than brushed finishes. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid sprays or polishes that can leave residue on the crystal rods.
Does it come with the crystal rods attached?
The lamp arrives with the crystal rods pre-attached to the chrome frame. No assembly is required beyond fitting the bulb and plugging in the lamp.
