Description

The Selia is a 220mm single-light pendant built around a laser-cut chrome shell that wraps a cascade of clear crystal drops. The chrome shell consists of geometric panels cut with precision edges, forming an angular frame around the central cluster of faceted crystal rods. A single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the shell, with light refracting through the crystal and reflecting off the polished chrome interior surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining nooks, the Selia works both as a standalone accent over a small table and in clustered installations of three or more pendants along a countertop. The 300mm drop from canopy to base suits ceiling heights of 2.4m and above when hung 700-800mm above a worktop. The compact 220mm diameter allows multiple Selias to be spaced 400-500mm apart without visual crowding.

The chrome finish is polished to a mirror gloss, creating sharp reflections that contrast with the softer light diffusion from the crystal. Each crystal drop is cut with multiple facets, so when the bulb is lit the pendant produces both direct downlight and scattered sparkle across surrounding surfaces. The combined chrome shell and crystal rods give the fitting a 2.8kg weight, requiring a ceiling rose rated for pendant loads.

What bulb does the Selia take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. For maximum sparkle through the crystal, pair with a clear filament LED or a small globe bulb rated at 6-10W and 2700K-3000K.

Can multiple Selias be installed in a row?

Yes. The 220mm diameter allows three or more Selias to be installed along a kitchen island or breakfast bar with 400-500mm spacing between each pendant. This creates a repeated rhythm of light and crystal along the counter.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 300mm pendant height works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings when hung 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface. Lower ceilings may require shortening the suspension cable during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal drop with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the crystal or chrome shell.
