Description
The Roma is a 95x75cm rectangle wall mirror built from a central bevelled mirror panel surrounded by angled mirrored plates that form the frame itself. The frame sections are bevelled at their inner edges, creating facets that catch and redirect ambient light at different angles depending on viewing position. A black-lacquered MDF backing panel provides structural support and prevents wall colour showing through the mirror edges.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dressing areas where wall space allows a substantial mirror, the Roma can be hung vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape) depending on the wall shape and surrounding furniture. The 75cm width in landscape orientation suits placement above a console table or sideboard, while the 95cm height in portrait orientation works in narrow hallway spaces or beside wardrobes. At 15.5kg the mirror requires two secure wall fixings into masonry or stud.
The silver mirror finish is a standard float glass mirror with a reflective aluminium backing, giving a neutral cool-toned reflection that suits both warm and cool interior palettes. The bevelled edges on both the central panel and the surrounding frame plates soften the geometric lines and add depth when the mirror is viewed from an angle rather than straight-on. The black-lacquered backing is visible only as a thin line around the mirror's outer edge once hung, defining the boundary between mirror and wall.
Schuller manufactures the Roma in Spain using float glass mirror panels cut and bevelled to size, assembled onto the MDF backing with mirror adhesive. The 4cm depth includes both the backing panel and the projection of the bevelled frame sections from the wall surface.

Frequently Asked
Can the Roma be hung horizontally?
Yes. The mirror can be installed in either portrait (95cm tall) or landscape (75cm tall) orientation. The fixing points on the backing accommodate both orientations.
What wall fixings are needed?
At 15.5kg the Roma requires two secure fixings rated for the mirror's weight. Use heavy-duty mirror plates or D-rings fixed into masonry plugs or wall studs, not plasterboard alone.
How is the bevelled frame constructed?
The frame is made from separate angled mirrored plates assembled around the central mirror panel. Each plate is bevelled on its inner edge, creating faceted surfaces that reflect light at different angles from the main mirror surface.
How is the mirror cleaned?
Use a standard glass cleaner or a diluted solution of white vinegar and water with a soft microfibre cloth. Spray the cloth rather than the mirror to avoid liquid seeping behind the bevelled edges.
