Description

The Rocio is a 13cm teardrop-shaped glass wall light made from solid champagne-toned glass with decorative bubbles trapped inside the material, mounted on a polished gold metal backplate. The integrated 5W LED sits inside the glass shade, casting 480 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the champagne glass and scattering reflections off the internal bubbles.

Designed for hallways, bedroom walls flanking a headboard, and bathroom mirror surrounds where IP20 rating is acceptable, the Rocio functions as both decorative accent and directed light. The 16cm projection from the wall and 19cm height make it suitable for narrow corridors and close-to-wall applications where larger sconces would intrude into walkways. The compact footprint pairs well when used in multiples along a stairwell or corridor at 1.5-2m spacing.

The champagne glass is a warm amber-gold tone when lit and a translucent honey colour under daylight, sitting between clear glass and full amber in tonal intensity. The bubbles inside the glass are a deliberate decorative feature cast into the material during production, not air pockets or defects. The polished gold backplate reflects light back through the glass and provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass fixtures, gold-toned mirrors and warm wood finishes.

Is the Rocio dimmable?

The integrated 5W LED is not stated as dimmable in the specification. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer switch to confirm compatibility with your specific dimmer model.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it can be used in bathrooms only in Zone 3 (more than 60cm from a bath or shower). It is not rated for use near water sources or in damp conditions.

What are the bubbles inside the glass?

The bubbles are a decorative feature cast into the champagne glass during production. They catch and scatter the LED light inside the shade, creating sparkle and visual interest. They are not air pockets or defects.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe the glass with a soft dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners or sprays that may react with the gold backplate.
