Description
The Rocco is an 86 x 61cm rectangular wall mirror set within a wood frame finished in silver with a beaded decorative border running along both the inner and outer edges. The frame measures 3.5cm in depth, giving it a low-relief profile that sits close to the wall without projecting far into the room. The beading is carved or moulded into the wood, creating a repeating egg-and-dart pattern that frames the mirror glass.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and above-mantel positions, the Rocco works as both a functional full-length mirror when hung vertically or as a horizontal feature above console tables and sideboards. The 86cm height is tall enough to show head-to-waist when wall-mounted at typical picture-hanging height, or full-length when leaned against a wall from floor level. The silver finish pairs with cooler-toned interiors, greys, whites and pale blues, and provides contrast in rooms with warm wood furniture.
The wood frame is finished in a mid-tone silver paint or lacquer that sits somewhere between bright chrome and pewter, with a slight sheen rather than a high-gloss polish. The beaded border gives the frame a traditional or classical character without the weight or cost of a plaster or resin moulding. At 7-20kg depending on glass thickness, the mirror requires two wall fixings into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard-only fixing.

Frequently Asked
Can this be hung horizontally or vertically?
Yes. The rectangular format works in both orientations. Hung vertically at typical picture height it provides head-to-waist reflection; hung horizontally it suits above-console or above-mantel positions. The fixings on the reverse can accommodate either orientation.
What wall fixings are needed?
At 7-20kg, the Rocco requires two secure fixings into masonry or timber studs. Use appropriate wall plugs and screws for the wall type. Plasterboard-only fixings are not sufficient for this weight.
Is the silver finish painted or plated?
The silver finish is a paint or lacquer applied to the wood frame. It has a mid-tone metallic appearance with a slight sheen, closer to brushed aluminium than polished chrome.
How is the frame cleaned?
Wipe the wood frame with a soft, dry cloth. For the mirror glass, use standard glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the frame as moisture can damage the wood or finish over time.
