Description

The Knightsbridge RJ45 network outlet provides a single shuttered CAT5e RJ45 port behind a pearl-finished stainless steel flat plate with a 2.5mm projection from the wall. The IDC terminals on the rear accept CAT5e or CAT6 cable and clip into place without soldering, and the kit includes the termination tool needed to connect the cable cores.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the outlet suits home offices, bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where wired Ethernet is needed for desktop computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, NAS devices or Wi-Fi access points. The shuttered port keeps dust out when not in use, and a write-on label behind the faceplate allows each outlet to be identified during installation or when managing multiple network drops.

The pearl finish is a warm off-white tone with a subtle metallic sheen, matching soft-toned and neutral interior schemes without the starkness of pure white or the coolness of polished chrome. The flat plate is fabricated from 201 stainless steel with an integrated gasket that seals against the wall, and the ultra-low 2.5mm projection means the outlet sits nearly flush with the plasterwork. The unit requires a minimum 35mm mounting box depth and is certified to BS 5733.
