Description

The Ripple is a 350mm crystal chandelier with four integrated 5W COB LEDs housed inside a drum-shaped shade constructed from sculpted clear crystal set in a rippled geometric pattern. A mirror-polished chrome band frames the top and bottom edges of the crystal drum, and the pendant hangs on three steel suspension cables from a polished chrome ceiling canopy.

Designed for breakfast bars, smaller dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where ceiling heights allow 600-800mm clearance below the fitting, the Ripple pairs ambient light output with decorative presence. The sculpted crystal pattern refracts and diffuses the LED light from inside the drum, casting soft patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings while providing functional illumination below. The 350mm diameter suits tables up to 1200mm wide or can be used in pairs or trios over longer island runs.

The crystal elements are individually faceted and set into the metal frame in a repeating ripple arrangement that creates visual depth when viewed from different angles. The polished chrome finish reflects room light during the day and adds a metallic accent to interiors with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps or contemporary metallics. At 4.9kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling anchor rated for the weight.

The integrated COB LEDs sit behind a white acrylic diffuser panel at the base of the drum, directing light downwards while the crystal sides scatter ambient illumination outwards. The four 5W LEDs combine to provide functional task lighting below the pendant without the glare of exposed bulbs.

Is the Ripple dimmable?

The integrated COB LEDs are typically dimmable with compatible trailing-edge dimmers, but compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with your installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant body is 320mm tall. With suspension cables the total drop is typically 800-1200mm depending on installation, so ceiling heights of 2.4m or above work best. The cables can be shortened during fitting if needed.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe each crystal panel gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household glass cleaners, which can leave residue inside the faceted pattern.

Can it be installed in multiples?

Yes. The 350mm diameter suits installation in pairs or trios over longer dining tables or kitchen islands, spaced 600-800mm apart depending on the table length and ceiling height.
