What is the infrared range at night?

Each dome camera has a 30m infrared range in total darkness. Effective range depends on ambient light conditions and the reflectivity of surfaces being monitored. In most residential settings, the cameras provide clear monochrome footage to around 20-25m.

How long does 1TB store footage for?

Storage duration depends on recording mode, resolution and H.265 compression efficiency. Continuous recording at 2MP typically provides 10-14 days of footage from two cameras. Motion-triggered recording extends this to several weeks. Older footage is overwritten automatically when the drive is full.

Is the system suitable for outdoor use?

The cameras are rated IP66, making them weatherproof against rain, dust and typical UK outdoor conditions.
