Description

The RekorHD 2MP 4-channel analogue CCTV kit pairs a 4-channel DVR with two weatherproof bullet cameras, a pre-installed 2TB hard drive, and all required cabling and power supplies. Each camera captures 1080p (2MP) resolution video, with day/night switching and an IP66 weatherproof rating for outdoor installation. The DVR supports H.265 video compression, reducing storage demands while maintaining image clarity across continuous or motion-triggered recording modes.

Designed for residential properties, small commercial premises and outbuildings where two-camera coverage is sufficient, the system allows remote monitoring via Android, iOS or PC applications. The DVR supports simultaneous playback, live viewing and remote access, so recorded footage can be reviewed while cameras continue to record. Perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection provide intelligent alert functions that trigger recordings when movement crosses pre-defined zones, reducing the volume of irrelevant footage.

The two grey bullet cameras ship with 3.6mm fixed lenses giving approximately 75-degree horizontal viewing angles, suited to driveways, building entrances and side passages. Night vision extends to 30m using infrared LEDs that activate automatically in low light. The 2TB hard drive provides weeks of continuous recording at 1080p resolution, with exact capacity depending on compression settings and motion frequency. The mouse-driven user interface on the DVR simplifies setup and configuration without needing a keyboard, and USB ports allow footage to be backed up to external drives for evidence transfer.

How many cameras can the DVR support?

The 4-channel DVR supports up to four analogue cameras. This kit includes two cameras, leaving two channels available for expansion if additional coverage is needed later.

What is the night vision range?

Each bullet camera has infrared LEDs that provide night vision up to 30m in complete darkness. The cameras switch automatically between day colour mode and night monochrome mode based on ambient light levels.

How is footage accessed remotely?

The DVR connects to a network via Ethernet. Once configured, the RekorHD app (available for Android and iOS) or PC client software allows live viewing and playback from anywhere with an internet connection. The DVR must remain connected to a router.

What is included in the kit?

The kit includes the 4-channel DVR with pre-installed 2TB HDD, two bullet cameras, camera mounting brackets, BNC video cables, a 12V power supply for the DVR, and a camera power supply. A monitor or TV is required for initial setup but is not included.
