Description

The PowerMaster 6ft 55W NCF LED Batten is a 1800mm weatherproof linear fitting with an integrated 55W LED module delivering 6600 lumens at 4000K cool white. The IP65-rated polycarbonate body with stainless steel spring clips provides dust and water ingress protection suitable for indoor industrial spaces and sheltered outdoor locations. The 120° beam angle gives wide, even distribution across warehouse aisles, workshop benches and garage ceiling runs.

Designed for commercial and industrial installation, the batten mounts directly to ceilings or walls using end-cap fixing points spaced 1650mm apart. The non-corrosive frame construction resists moisture and chemical exposure in environments such as vehicle workshops, plant rooms, agricultural buildings and exterior canopies. The flicker-free driver operates on 230V mains without requiring external control gear, simplifying installation and reducing component count.

The 4000K colour temperature sits between neutral and cool white, providing crisp visibility for task work without the clinical tone of higher-kelvin fittings. At 120 lumens per watt, the batten delivers functional output without excessive power draw, making it suitable for continuous-operation environments. The IP65 rating qualifies it for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3 (not zone 0), though its industrial form factor makes it more commonly specified for utility spaces than domestic bathrooms.

The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and eliminates visible LED point sources, reducing glare on reflective work surfaces. Can this be used outdoors?

The IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor locations such as covered walkways, canopies and car ports. It is not rated for full-exposure outdoor use in unsheltered positions subject to driving rain or standing water.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 55W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 10 years of continuous use before significant lumen output decline.

What does NCF stand for?

NCF refers to the non-corrosive frame construction. The batten body is made from materials that resist corrosion in damp or chemically-exposed environments, with stainless steel clips that will not rust under normal operating conditions.

How is it mounted?

The batten mounts via fixing points at each end cap, spaced 1650mm apart. Standard M4 or M5 screws (not included) secure the fitting to ceilings or walls. The end caps have cable entry knockouts for through-wiring in continuous runs.
