Description

The PowerMaster 4ft LED batten is a single-tube linear fitting with an integrated 20W LED delivering 2,600 lumens at 4000K cool white through an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The white steel housing measures 1200mm long and mounts to ceilings or walls via a screwless hinged bracket that allows the cover to swing open for installation and maintenance access without removing fixings.

Designed for offices, workshops, garages, utility rooms and retail back-of-house areas where functional overhead lighting is needed, the batten provides 130 lumens per watt across a 120-degree beam angle. The opal diffuser spreads light evenly along the tube length, avoiding the hard striping effect of exposed LED chips. Quick-fit push terminals inside the housing accept solid or stranded cable without requiring terminal screwdrivers, reducing installation time on multi-unit runs.

The IP20 rating limits the batten to dry indoor environments, while the IK06 impact rating provides moderate resistance to knocks from ladders or stored items in workshop and storage settings. The LED is non-dimmable and runs directly on 230V mains with flicker-free drive electronics to avoid the strobing effect that can occur with cheaper constant-current drivers. The white powder-coated steel housing weighs 1.25kg and projects approximately 70mm from the mounting surface once fitted.

No. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains with fixed output. Dimmer compatibility is not supported on this model.
