Description
The PowerMaster 3-pack recessed downlights are fixed GU10 fittings with polished chrome bezels and aluminium alloy frames, designed for ceiling installation in kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bathrooms (Zone 3 only). Each fitting measures 86mm in bezel diameter with a 76mm recessed depth, and comes with pre-installed spring clips for push-fit installation into ceiling cut-outs.
Designed for mains GU10 bulbs (sold separately), the fittings accept any standard GU10 LED, halogen or CFL bulb, allowing you to choose the wattage, colour temperature and beam angle that suits the room. The chrome bezel reflects and diffuses light outward, increasing the effective spread of each bulb. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas or bathroom Zone 3 (more than 600mm from a bath or shower). The spring-clip mechanism grips the ceiling void without needing screws or additional fixings once the cut-out is made.
The polished chrome finish provides a neutral metallic accent that pairs with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and brushed nickel hardware in contemporary interiors. Each fitting weighs 153g (0.46kg for the pack of three), light enough to be supported by standard plasterboard ceilings with minimal reinforcement. The fixed-direction design means the light beam is directed straight down from the ceiling — these are not tilt-and-rotate spotlights.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs do these downlights take?
The fittings take standard GU10 mains bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair these with 4-6W GU10 LED bulbs in 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting or 4000K for task lighting in kitchens.
Are these dimmable?
The fittings themselves are not dimmable. However, if you install dimmable GU10 bulbs and connect the circuit to a compatible GU10 dimmer switch, the light output can be controlled. Check that both the bulb and dimmer are rated for GU10 loads before pairing.
Can these be used in a bathroom?
The IP20 rating limits these downlights to bathroom Zone 3, which is any area more than 600mm horizontally from a bath or shower and outside Zones 0, 1 and 2. They cannot be used directly above a bath or shower.
What ceiling void depth is needed?
The 76mm recessed depth requires at least 80mm of ceiling void to accommodate the fitting and allow clearance for the GU10 bulb holder. Some GU10 bulbs add 50-60mm, so a total void depth of 130mm or more is recommended.
