Pave 5 Light Chandelier - Polished Nickel

The Pave is a five-arm chandelier from Feiss with a polished nickel frame, five white Shantung silk shades, and crystal-inset detailing on the canopy and shade caps. Each shade sits on an E14 lampholder extending from a curved nickel arm, and the crystal inlay on both the ceiling canopy and the shade crowns catches ambient light to add reflective detail without dominating the fitting.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Pave provides ambient light spread across five points while the silk shades soften the direct glare from each bulb. The 642mm diameter suits tables of 1.4-1.8m length or central positions in halls and living rooms of 12-18m². The height is adjustable on installation via a 1524mm chain, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in double-height entrance spaces.

The polished nickel finish provides a cooler metallic tone than brass or bronze, pairing comfortably with greys, whites and cooler-toned interiors. The five curved arms radiate from a central stem, creating an open profile that avoids visual bulk despite the 642mm spread. The Shantung silk is a natural-fibre fabric with a subtle slub texture, diffusing light more softly than plain cotton or synthetic drum shades. The crystal inlays are geometric rather than cut-crystal faceted, giving a geometric Art Deco reference without traditional ornament.

What bulbs does the Pave take?

The chandelier takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 4-6W per bulb for ambient dining or living room lighting.

Can the height be adjusted after installation?

The height is adjustable on installation by shortening the chain length before final wiring. Once installed, the chain cannot be adjusted without re-fitting. The minimum drop of 733mm and maximum of 2302mm allow flexibility for most UK residential ceiling heights.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

The polished nickel frame can be wiped with a soft dry cloth. The Shantung silk shades should be dusted with a dry microfibre cloth or soft brush. Avoid water or cleaning sprays on the silk, as they may mark the natural fabric. The crystal inlay can be wiped gently with a barely-damp cloth if needed.
