The Orio is an 81x61cm rectangular wall mirror with a hand-applied gold leaf finish over a curved MDF frame and a bevelled edge to the glass. The frame's rounded profile softens the rectangular geometry, creating a mirror that reads as structured without hard corners. The gold leaf is applied by hand in thin sheets, giving a warm metallic tone with subtle variation across the surface.

Designed to hang vertically above a console table in an entrance hall or horizontally above a low sideboard in a living room, the mirror suits spaces where light needs redistributing or where a wall needs a decorative focal point without the mass of a large painting. The 4cm frame depth gives the mirror enough projection to cast a shadow line on the wall behind, separating it visually from the surface. Yes. The Orio is designed to be hung in either orientation. Fixing points on the rear accommodate both vertical and horizontal placement, allowing the mirror to adapt to the proportions of the wall space.

The mirror requires wall fixings rated to at least 10kg to provide a safety margin. Use two D-rings or a French cleat fixed into solid masonry with appropriate plugs, or directly into wall studs behind plasterboard. Plasterboard-only fixings are not recommended for this weight.
