Description

The Knightsbridge M7300 is a metal clad BT master telephone socket housed in an 81mm square powder-coated steel enclosure with an integrated metal back box. The socket includes a built-in surge arrestor and R/C filter for line testing compatibility, making it suitable for primary telephone line termination in commercial, industrial and high-use domestic environments.

Designed for installations where physical protection is needed — workshops, warehouses, plant rooms, garage conversions and external covered areas — the steel construction resists impact damage that would crack or break a standard plastic faceplate. The IP20 rating provides protection against finger contact and objects larger than 12.5mm, suitable for indoor dry locations. The socket accepts a standard BT plug and uses screw terminals for line connection.

The powder-coated silver-grey finish provides corrosion resistance and a neutral appearance that blends with industrial settings and utility spaces. The metal back box is supplied as part of the unit, eliminating the need to source a separate enclosure.
