Description

The Mercury F20A is a 6 x 32mm quick blow fuse rated at 20A and 250V, designed to interrupt current within milliseconds when an overload or short circuit occurs. The glass body houses a fine wire element that melts instantly when current exceeds the 20A threshold, protecting connected equipment and wiring from thermal damage. Each pack contains six fuses.

Quick blow fuses are used in applications where sensitive electronic components require immediate protection rather than delayed response. Typical installations include audio amplifiers, powered speakers, DJ equipment, PA systems, power supplies and control panels where a sustained overload could damage circuitry before a slower-acting fuse would break the circuit. The 6 x 32mm format fits standard IEC fuseholders and panel-mount fuse carriers.

The glass tube body allows visual inspection of the fuse element without removal from the holder — a blown fuse shows a broken wire or darkened glass from the arc. The metal end caps are nickel-plated for corrosion resistance and consistent contact pressure.
