Description

The LYYT 60W is a 24V DC LED power supply with IP67 weatherproof protection, delivering up to 2.5A output for LED tape and low-voltage lighting circuits. The 222 x 29 x 21mm slimline aluminium housing carries an IP67 rating against dust and temporary water immersion, making it suitable for outdoor architectural lighting, landscape installations, and damp internal spaces where moisture ingress is a risk.

Designed for professional installation of LED tape runs up to 60W total load, the power supply accepts 200-250V AC mains input and provides regulated 24V DC output through a single feed with pre-wired cable tails. Short circuit protection shuts down the unit if the output is accidentally shorted during installation or if a connected LED driver fails, preventing damage to the power supply and connected lighting.

The compact footprint allows the unit to be concealed in shallow ceiling voids, behind exterior cladding panels, or within IP-rated junction boxes where space is limited. At 240g the power supply can be fixed to vertical surfaces using cable ties or mounting brackets without requiring structural support. Always calculate the total wattage of your LED tape run before selecting a power supply and allow 10-15% headroom to avoid running at maximum capacity.

What does IP67 mean for installation?
