Description

The LumiLife high bay reflector is an aluminium accessory fitting that clips onto compatible 150W high bay light units to narrow the beam angle from the native wide-angle dispersion down to 90°. The reflector cone redirects light downwards and outwards at a controlled angle, reducing upward spill and lowering glare when viewed from below.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, retail stockrooms and industrial spaces with ceiling heights between 4m and 8m, the reflector improves task lighting at floor level by concentrating light output onto the working plane instead of dispersing it across walls and upper air space. The 90° beam suits aisles, production lines and zones where defined light pools are needed rather than broad ambient wash.

The aluminium construction acts as a passive heatsink, drawing heat away from the high bay LED driver and increasing the thermal stability of the installation. What does the 90° beam angle mean in practice?

A 90° beam angle concentrates light into a defined pool directly beneath the fitting, narrower than the typical 120° native beam of most high bays. This improves task lighting intensity at floor level and reduces light spill onto walls or neighbouring bays.

Does the reflector reduce the total light output?

The reflector redirects rather than blocks light, so total lumen output from the LED remains the same. However, by concentrating the beam downwards, perceived brightness at floor level increases while brightness at wall level decreases.

Is a 60° version available?

Yes. LumiLife produces both 60° and 90° reflectors for the same 150W high bay range. The 60° version creates a tighter, more focused pool of light, useful for very high ceilings or narrow aisles.
