Description

The LumiLife High Bay Reflector is an aluminium cone attachment designed to narrow the beam angle of 150W high bay fittings from their typical 120° or 140° output down to a focused 60°. The reflector clips onto the rim of compatible LumiLife Mountain high bay housings, directing more of the fixture's light output downward and reducing spill onto walls and vertical surfaces.

Designed for warehouse aisles, workshop benches and retail spaces where light needs to be concentrated on specific floor areas rather than spread evenly across the room, the reflector reduces the effective coverage zone of each fitting while increasing lux levels within that zone. This allows for taller mounting heights in high-ceiling spaces without losing task-level illumination, or allows fewer fittings to be used when lighting narrow aisles between racking.

The aluminium construction dissipates heat through vertical fins moulded into the top surface, preventing thermal buildup inside the reflector cone that could affect the LED module above. The polished interior surface maximises light output by reflecting stray rays back into the main beam path rather than absorbing them. The reflector adds approximately 150mm of depth to the overall fixture profile once installed and weighs around 600g, which is within the structural tolerance of standard high bay suspension cables and mounting brackets.

Frequently Asked

Which high bay fittings is this reflector compatible with?

The reflector is designed for LumiLife Mountain 150W high bay models. It clips onto the rim of the high bay housing and works with both the standard and dimmable versions of the 150W fitting. Check the product code of your existing high bay before ordering to confirm compatibility.

How does narrowing the beam angle affect light output?

Narrowing the beam from 120° to 60° concentrates the same lumen output into a smaller floor area, increasing lux levels directly beneath the fitting while reducing light spill to the sides. This is useful in aisles or task areas but will reduce overall room brightness if the fittings were originally spaced for wide-angle coverage.

Can the reflector be removed once fitted?

Yes. The reflector clips onto the high bay housing and can be removed without tools if the beam angle needs to be widened again. The high bay will revert to its original beam pattern once the reflector is detached.

Does the reflector affect heat dissipation from the LED module?

No. The aluminium construction and vertical fins on the reflector's top surface allow heat to dissipate naturally. The reflector does not enclose the LED module or block airflow around the high bay's heat sink.
