Description
The LumiLife high bay motion and daylight sensor combines passive infrared detection with an adjustable daylight threshold, allowing high bay and low bay LED fittings to operate only when movement is detected and ambient light falls below a set level. The sensor covers a full 360° field and is rated IP65 for wet or dusty industrial environments.
Designed for warehouses, factory floors, retail stockrooms and sports halls with ceiling heights between 6 and 8 metres, the sensor mounts directly to compatible LumiLife high bay fittings or can be retrofitted to other brands using the appropriate adaptor plate. Detection range is adjustable in four steps (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), allowing coverage to be tuned to the room layout and avoiding false triggers from adjacent aisles or walkways.
Hold time adjusts from 10 seconds to 30 minutes, setting how long the light remains on after the last movement is detected. The daylight sensor threshold adjusts in four steps (off, 10 lux, 30 lux, 100 lux), preventing the light from switching on during daylight hours when natural light is sufficient. A remote control (included) allows settings to be changed from ground level without accessing the sensor at height.
The sensor operates across a wide temperature range from -30°C to 80°C, making it suitable for cold storage facilities and high-ambient industrial spaces. Anti-interference circuitry reduces false triggers from vibration, air currents and adjacent sensors.

Frequently Asked
What installation height does it support?
The sensor is designed for ceiling heights between 6 and 8 metres. Below 6m the detection radius may be too narrow; above 8m the sensor may not reliably detect movement at ground level.
How is the detection range adjusted?
Detection range adjusts in four steps: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the maximum coverage area. Use the remote control to select the range that best suits the room layout and avoids triggering from adjacent spaces.
What does the daylight sensor do?
The daylight sensor prevents the light from switching on when ambient light is above a set threshold. It adjusts in four steps: off (sensor disabled), 10 lux, 30 lux and 100 lux. Set a higher lux value to keep lights off during daylight hours in buildings with skylights or large windows.
Is the sensor compatible with non-LumiLife high bay lights?
The sensor is designed for LumiLife high bay fittings but can be retrofitted to other brands if a compatible adaptor plate or mounting interface is available. Check the mounting aperture and connector type before ordering.
