Description

The LumiLife 24W recessed LED downlight combines a white powder-coated bezel with an integrated 1800-lumen LED module rated at 2700K warm white. The fitting requires a 140mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush once installed, with the driver unit housed separately behind the ceiling plane. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes, making the downlight suitable for kitchens, bathrooms (zones 2 and 3), utility rooms and covered outdoor areas.

Designed as fixed recessed lighting for residential and light commercial applications, the downlight delivers a 90-degree beam angle that provides general room illumination without hot-spotting. The TRIAC-compatible driver allows dimming with most standard leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers, giving control over brightness from full output down to approximately 10%. The 24W LED replaces 150-200W halogen equivalents while drawing significantly less power, reducing both energy consumption and heat output in the ceiling void.

The white powder-coated finish on the visible bezel sits neutrally in most ceiling planes and can be overpainted if needed to match specific interior schemes. The fitting's 750g weight requires adequate ceiling support, particularly in plasterboard-only installations where additional bracing or spreading plates may be necessary. The integrated LED is rated for 25,000 hours at full brightness, equating to roughly 10-12 years of typical domestic use before output degrades below 70% of initial lumens.
