Description

The LumiLife Polo is a 16W LED outdoor bulkhead with IP65 weatherproofing and a three-stage colour temperature switch. A dip-switch on the rear of the fitting toggles between warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K) and cool white (6500K), allowing the light to be set to the required tone during installation. The integrated LED delivers 1200-1600 lumens depending on the selected colour temperature.

Designed for outdoor wall and soffit mounting on garages, porches, outbuildings and covered pathways, the IP65 rating protects the fitting against water jets from any direction and dust ingress. The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and the ABS base resists UV degradation and thermal cycling from outdoor temperature swings. The 115-degree beam angle provides wide area coverage rather than directional spot lighting.

The white polycarbonate diffuser sits flush with a low-profile white ABS base, giving a 280mm-diameter presence on the wall without protruding significantly. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch (dimmer not included). Rated for up to 50,000 hours operational life on a typical residential duty cycle, which equates to approximately 20 years at 6 hours per day.

How is the colour temperature changed?

A dip-switch on the rear of the fitting toggles between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white. The switch must be set before the fitting is wired to the mains and mounted. Changing the colour temperature after installation requires removing the fitting from the wall to access the switch.

Can this be used on a bathroom exterior wall?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against water jets and the fitting is rated for Zones 3, 2 and 1. It cannot be used in Zone 0, which is the volume inside a bath or shower tray where the fitting would be submerged.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility varies by brand and model — test with your specific dimmer before final installation or contact us for compatibility guidance.

What surface does it mount to?

The ABS base fixes to any solid exterior wall (brick, block, render, timber cladding) using screws through the rear fixing points. The cable enters through a rear knockout gland. Suitable for both wall mounting and soffit/overhang ceiling mounting.
