Description

LumiClean lampshade cleaner sponges are dry-cleaning blocks designed to lift dust, dirt and surface residue from fabric, paper and silk lampshades without using liquid sprays or detergents. Each sponge is formulated with a porous surface that attracts and traps particles when wiped across pleated, textured or smooth lampshade surfaces.

Suitable for routine dusting and occasional deep-cleaning of fabric lampshades, linen, paper, silk blends, and also for cleaning wallpaper borders, upholstery piping and other delicate surfaces where moisture could cause staining or distortion. The dry application means no drying time and no risk of water marks forming on absorbent materials.

Each sponge measures approximately 120mm x 70mm x 25mm and can be used multiple times before the surface becomes saturated with dust. As the sponge picks up particles, the outer layer can be trimmed away with scissors to expose a fresh cleaning surface underneath, extending the working life of each block. The 24-pack provides enough supply for a household to clean all lampshades quarterly over two years, or for professional cleaners and interior designers maintaining multiple properties.

LumiClean sponges work by light friction rather than abrasion, so they will not damage delicate weaves or pull threads on loosely-woven fabrics. For stubborn marks on washable fabrics, the sponge can be followed by a barely-damp microfibre cloth, but the sponge alone removes most routine dust accumulation without needing further treatment.
