Description
The Lucent is a 2 light crystal wall light built on a gunmetal frame with two curved arms extending from a central circular backplate. Each arm holds an SES candle bulb holder topped with a clear glass bobeche, with a faceted crystal droplet suspended below. Additional strands of crystal beads connect the arms in a central arc, and a faceted crystal finial sits at the top of the backplate.
Designed for hallways, dining rooms and formal seating areas, the Lucent works as flanking symmetry either side of a mirror, artwork or doorway, or in sequence along a corridor. The 35cm width and 19cm projection from the wall suit rooms with clear wall space between doorways and furniture. The fitting takes two SES bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), with the candle-style holders allowing the bulb to show as part of the design.
The gunmetal finish provides a darker, cooler-toned alternative to polished chrome or brass, pairing well with grey, charcoal and blue-toned interiors, and with other dark metal fixtures like door furniture and curtain poles. The faceted crystal droplets catch light from the bulbs and from daylight windows, adding reflection without the warmer tones of amber or smoked crystal. The combined metal and crystal weight of 1.3kg requires secure fixing to a solid wall or into a reinforced partition.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Lucent takes two SES (Small Edison Screw, E14 base) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-style LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) at 4-6W to suit the traditional candle holder aesthetic.
Can it be installed on a stud wall?
At 1.3kg the fitting requires secure fixing. On plasterboard or stud walls, use cavity anchors rated for at least 5kg or fix through to the timber studs. On solid brick or block walls, standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient.
Does the gunmetal finish match other Impex ranges?
Gunmetal finishes can vary between manufacturers and even between ranges. If you're pairing the Lucent with other fittings, consider ordering samples or checking finish consistency in person where possible, as darker metal finishes show more variation than polished chrome.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Wipe crystal droplets with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. For heavier dust build-up, remove droplets carefully from their wire loops, clean individually, and re-attach. Avoid household sprays or polishes on the gunmetal frame as these can dull the finish.
