Each tier holds faceted lead crystal prisms in a stepped arrangement that narrows towards the base, with five SES bulb fittings distributed across the tiers. The chrome frame sits behind the crystal layers, reflecting light back through the prisms and onto the wall.

Designed for hallways, stairwells and flanking positions beside mirrors or artwork, the Lucca provides both ambient light and decorative presence in spaces where vertical emphasis suits the architecture. The 33cm width fits alcoves and narrower wall sections without encroaching into circulation space, while the 60cm height fills vertical wall areas above console tables or between dado and picture rails. The 19cm projection clears most skirting boards and door architraves.

The five SES bulb fittings accept small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), giving control over total light output and colour temperature depending on bulb choice. The lead crystal prisms refract light into spectrum colours when struck by direct bulb filament or LED source, creating a layered glow across the wall and adjacent surfaces. The polished chrome finish pairs with both traditional brass and contemporary metallic fixtures, bridging classical and modern interior schemes.

At 6kg the fitting requires secure fixing into masonry or studwork rather than plasterboard alone. What bulbs does the Lucca take?

The fitting takes five SES (small Edison screw, E14 base) bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 3-6W and 2700K-3000K to balance light output with the crystal refraction.

How is it mounted on the wall?

At 6kg the Lucca requires fixing into solid masonry or studwork using wall plugs and screws rated for the load. Plasterboard fixing alone will not support the weight safely. A qualified electrician should install and test the fitting.

Does the crystal need cleaning?

Yes. Dust accumulates on the faceted surfaces and dulls the refraction over time. Remove individual prisms according to the manufacturer's instructions and clean with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly before re-hanging. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can scratch the crystal.

What's the difference between this and pendant crystal fittings?

Wall-mounted crystal fittings like the Lucca project light sideways and upwards onto the wall, creating wash effects and highlighting wall texture. Pendant fittings project light downwards and outwards into the room. Wall lights work better in circulation spaces where headroom for pendants is limited.
