Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and peninsulas where linear spread is more useful than clustered central lighting, the 70cm bar positions the three shades at even intervals along its length. Each shade drops on a suspended wire from the canopy, with the 25cm overall height allowing the fitting to sit comfortably 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. The G9 fittings accept LED, halogen or capsule bulbs up to 28W each (sold separately).

What length kitchen island or table does the 70cm bar suit?

A 70cm bar works over islands or tables between 140-180cm long, where it provides even light distribution without looking undersized or overcrowded. For longer islands over 200cm, consider pairing two Laurin pendants or choosing a longer bar format if available.

Is the drop height adjustable?

The suspension wires are typically adjustable during installation, allowing the overall drop to be shortened to suit lower ceilings or raised for higher spaces. Check with your installer for the exact adjustment range on this model.

Can the copper mesh be cleaned?

The copper mesh sits inside the sealed glass cylinder, so it does not collect dust or grease directly. The outer glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. If the mesh itself needs attention, remove the glass shade (ensure power is off first) and wipe gently with a dry cloth.
