The 870mm diameter spread and 749mm fitting height give the chandelier substantial presence in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, while the adjustable chain allows drop customisation between 849mm and 2716mm depending on ceiling height and room proportion.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces where a central overhead fitting anchors the lighting scheme, the Lacey provides ambient illumination across a 3-4m diameter area when fitted with 9 x E14 bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately). The two-tier configuration places five lights on the lower ring and four on the upper, distributing light both downward and outward. The organza outer shade softens the light before it reaches the room, while the opal glass inner shade prevents direct bulb glare.

The mission bronze finish is a deep warm brown with subtle tonal variation that reads as traditional rather than industrial. The scrollwork arms curve outward from a central column, giving the chandelier a classical silhouette that pairs comfortably with both period and transitional interiors. What bulbs does the Lacey take?

The chandelier requires 9 x E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient dining room lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 849mm means the chandelier sits approximately 850mm below the ceiling rose when installed at its shortest configuration. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 750-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The chain can be extended to a maximum 2716mm drop for higher ceilings or feature staircases.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chain length is set during installation by removing or adding chain links before the ceiling canopy is fixed. Once installed the drop is fixed and cannot be adjusted without taking the fitting down.

Can the organza shades be cleaned?

The outer organza fabric shades can be dusted gently with a soft brush or lint roller. Avoid liquid cleaners on fabric. The inner opal glass shades can be wiped with a damp cloth when removed from the fitting, but ensure they are completely dry before reassembly.
