Description

The Kiara is a beige upholstered dining chair with a black metal four-leg frame and a contoured plywood shell wrapped in polyester fabric over foam padding. The seat and backrest are shaped as a single continuous form that curves inward at the waist to provide lower back support, while the decorative topstitching around the edges defines the shape and reinforces the seams.

Designed for dining tables in kitchens, dining rooms and hospitality settings, the chair measures 54cm wide by 56cm deep with an 83cm overall height. The matt black metal legs taper at the base and sit directly on the floor without glides, giving clean lines that work with both light wood and dark wood dining tables. The beige polyester upholstery is a mid-tone neutral that sits between grey and cream, pairing with warm oak, walnut and painted timber tables.

The plywood core inside the upholstery gives the seat and back a firm structure that holds its shape under daily use, while the foam padding adds enough give to remain comfortable through a meal without feeling over-soft. At 7.6kg the chair is light enough to move for cleaning or rearranging but substantial enough not to slide easily on hard floors. The Kiara works with standard dining table heights of 74-76cm. The seat height (floor to top of seat cushion) is typically around 46-48cm, giving comfortable leg clearance under most dining tables.

Can the upholstery be cleaned?

The polyester fabric can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent for minor spills. For deeper cleaning, vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment and treat stains immediately to prevent setting. Avoid soaking the fabric, as the plywood and foam core should not become waterlogged.

What colour options are available?
