Jazmin Set of 3 Fiberclay Planters - Antic Beige

The Jazmin is a set of three fiberclay planters with hand-carved vertical ribbing across the outer surface, finished in antic beige. Each planter is moulded from a mix of fibreglass and fiberclay resin, giving a stone-like appearance and textured surface at a fraction of the weight of ceramic or concrete. The set includes three nested sizes: large at 51cm diameter × 60cm height, medium at 40cm × 48cm, and small at 29cm × 36cm.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the Jazmin planters suit patios, entrance halls, sunrooms and open-plan living areas where groups of plants are used to zone space or frame doorways. The fibreclay construction is frost-resistant and UV-stable, so the planters can stay outside year-round in UK climates without cracking or fading. The vertical carving creates shadow lines that shift with the light, adding visual interest even when the planter is empty.

The antic beige finish has a matte, slightly chalky texture that pairs with terracotta pots, natural stone paving and timber furniture without competing for attention. Despite the substantial 60cm height of the largest planter, the combined weight of all three is just under 28kg, making them easier to move and reposition than comparable terracotta or cast-stone planters. The planters have no drainage holes pre-drilled, so they can be used as cachepots with the plant left in its nursery pot inside, or drilled if direct planting is preferred.

Can these planters be left outside in winter?

Yes. The fibreclay construction is frost-resistant and UV-stable, so the planters can remain outdoors year-round in UK climates without cracking or fading. If left outside over winter, ensure water does not pool inside the planter, as standing water can freeze and cause damage even in frost-resistant materials.

Do the planters have drainage holes?

No. The planters are supplied without pre-drilled drainage holes, so they work best as cachepots with the plant left in its original nursery pot inside. If you prefer to plant directly into the planter, you can drill drainage holes in the base using a masonry or tile bit.

What size plants do they suit?

The large planter (51cm diameter) suits plants in 30-40cm nursery pots, the medium (40cm) suits 20-30cm pots, and the small (29cm) suits 15-20cm pots. These are approximate guides — measure your plant's nursery pot diameter and height to confirm fit before purchasing.

How are the planters cleaned?

Wipe the outer surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. For more stubborn marks, use a soft brush with warm soapy water and rinse with clean water. Avoid pressure washers, which can damage the carved texture and matte finish.
