Description
The Hatton is a 40cm cast aluminium vase with a faceted geometric surface that runs in radiating panels from top to base, creating an angular, prismatic texture across the oval form. The vase is finished in a soft gold — closer to champagne or pale brass than bright metallic gold — with a matte surface that diffuses reflections and gives the metal a warm, textile-like appearance under ambient light.
Designed as a decorative accent rather than a functional vessel, the Hatton is not water-safe and is intended for dry arrangements, silk stems, or standalone display on console tables, sideboards, and mantels. The 20cm width and 9cm depth give the vase a slender footprint that suits narrow surfaces, whilst the 40cm height provides presence without overwhelming typical shelving or console proportions. The 2.44kg weight gives the vase stability on flat surfaces.
The faceted pattern catches and redirects light differently depending on viewing angle and time of day, so the vase reads as darker in shadow and brighter where light hits the angled planes directly. The soft gold finish pairs comfortably with warm-toned interiors, natural oak, walnut furniture, and rooms where brass, bronze or antique gold accents are already present. Libra Interiors also produce this design in a 32cm height for lower surfaces or paired display.

Frequently Asked
Is the Hatton water-safe?
No. The vase is cast aluminium with a decorative finish and is not sealed for water use. It is intended for dry arrangements, artificial stems, or standalone display only.
What size is available?
The Hatton is available in two heights: 32cm and 40cm. Both share the same oval footprint and faceted geometric surface, differing only in overall height.
How is the finish best maintained?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. The matte surface can show fingerprints, so handle by the base when moving. Avoid chemical sprays, metal polishes or abrasive cloths, which may damage the finish.
What interiors does the soft gold suit?
The champagne-toned gold pairs well with warm neutrals, natural wood tones (especially oak and walnut), and rooms with existing brass, bronze or antique gold accents. It complements traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors but may feel out of place in strictly cool-toned or minimalist schemes.
