Description

The Gulf is a 30cm gold glass pendant light built around a rounded dome shade with a polished, mirror-finish gold surface. A single G9 lamp sits inside the shade, suspended from a slim brass-finished ceiling fitting on a 150cm black fabric cable. The shade measures 30cm across and 14cm tall, giving a low-profile dome rather than a deep bowl, with a curved underside that softens the silhouette.

The pendant suits kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars and hallways with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to set the shade at a typical 700-800mm above a worktop or dining surface. Hung as a single piece it works as a compact accent over a side table; installed in a row of three or five along an island it produces a repeating pattern of warm reflected light.

The mirrored gold glass acts as both shade and reflector. Light from the G9 bulb bounces off the inner surface of the dome and emerges as a warm, diffused glow rather than direct downlight, while the polished outer surface picks up colours from the surrounding room. The G9 fitting accepts capsule LED, halogen and dimmable LED bulbs (sold separately) up to the wattage shown in the Specification tab, giving flexibility over brightness and colour temperature.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

The Gulf takes a single G9 capsule bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED at 2700K-3000K pairs well with the gold shade and gives a softer reflected glow than a cool-white bulb.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself does not restrict dimming. Whether the pendant dims smoothly depends on the bulb chosen and the dimmer switch used. Pair a dimmable G9 LED with a compatible LED dimmer for the best result.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 150cm black fabric cable can be shortened on installation to set the shade at the right height. For a kitchen island or dining table the underside of the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the surface.

Can multiple Gulf pendants be hung together?

Yes. Each Gulf is a single pendant on its own cable and ceiling fitting, so two, three or five units can be installed in a row along an island or over a long dining table. Space pendants 400-500mm apart for a balanced rhythm above a 2-3m island.
