The Georin is a 2-light solid brass wall light built around an oval backplate with a beaded border detail and two outward-sweeping arms, each terminating in a traditional candleholder. The entire fitting is finished in polished brass, giving a high-shine reflective surface that catches daylight and lamplight. Each arm takes a Small Edison Screw (SES) bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms and living room feature walls, the Georin sits 26.5cm wide and projects 13cm from the wall, making it suitable for narrower wall sections where a larger multi-arm sconce would overwhelm the space. The upward-facing candleholders work with either bare decorative filament bulbs or clip-on fabric candle shades depending on the room's lighting needs. The backplate conceals standard UK wall box fixings and the solid brass construction gives the fitting a 0.40kg presence without requiring reinforced mounting.

The polished brass finish develops a natural patina over time unless regularly polished, so buyers preferring a consistent high-shine surface should use a brass-specific metal polish periodically. The beaded oval backplate and balanced arm geometry make the Georin suitable for symmetrical installation in pairs across a bed headboard, either side of a mirror, or flanking a doorway in a hallway. What bulb does the Georin take?

Each arm takes a Small Edison Screw (SES, also called E14) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting, or decorative filament bulbs for a more visible lamp presence.

Can candle shades be fitted?

Yes. The upward-facing candleholders accept standard clip-on fabric candle shades with an SES fitting ring. This allows the light to be softened and diffused if the bare bulbs are too bright or if the room benefits from a more traditional dressed appearance.

Does the polished brass tarnish?

Polished brass develops a natural patina over time as the surface oxidises. This is a characteristic of the metal and some buyers prefer the aged appearance. If a consistent high-shine finish is required, regular cleaning with a brass-specific metal polish will maintain the reflective surface.
