Description

The Flessen is a single-arm solid brass wall light with a curved arm extending from a turned backplate and base, finished in polished brass. A single SES (E14) bulb fitting sits upright in a shallow drip tray above the arm, casting light upward and outward from the wall. The backplate features a rounded finial at top and a bulbous turned section at the base, giving the fitting the proportions of a classical candlestick sconce.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedrooms and formal sitting rooms where a traditional aesthetic is required without visual bulk, the 19cm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall while the upright bulb position casts ambient light onto the ceiling and nearby surfaces. The 23cm height suits narrow wall sections between picture rails and skirting, door frames, and alcove walls. The polished brass reflects warm light when lit and acts as a metallic accent under daylight.

The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 400g weight that feels substantial despite the compact 7cm diameter backplate. The polished finish is bright and reflective when new, developing a warmer patina over time unless regularly polished.
