Description

The Flash is a 2-light wall light built around a chrome backplate with two cylindrical glass shades, each containing a cluster of faceted clear crystal elements at its core. The outer shade is a transparent smoked glass cylinder that sits around the crystal cluster, and the inner crystal assembly refracts light from the G9 bulb through multiple facets, scattering points of light across surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and living spaces where decorative wall lighting adds depth without occupying floor space, the Flash mounts horizontally at typical picture rail height or above sideboard furniture. The 37cm width suits walls between 2m and 4m wide without overwhelming narrower alcoves. The chrome backplate and smoked glass give the fitting a contemporary rather than classical tone, pairing with dark wood, polished stone and mirrored surfaces.

Each of the two lights takes a G9 halogen or LED bulb up to 53W (bulbs sold separately). The faceted crystal cores are individually hand-set within the metal framework before the glass shade is fitted around them during assembly. The smoked glass outer cylinders soften the glare from bare bulbs while allowing the crystal refraction to remain visible when lit. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior spaces only.

Each light takes a G9 capsule bulb up to 53W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient warmth, or 4000K for a cooler, more contemporary tone.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The Flash carries an IP20 rating, which restricts it to dry interior spaces only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any location where moisture or steam is present.

How is the crystal assembled?

The faceted crystal elements are hand-set within a metal framework that sits inside each smoked glass cylinder. The outer glass shade is then fitted around the crystal assembly. Assembly instructions are included and linked in the Downloads tab.
