Description
The FL High Lumen 200W asymmetric lens is a clip-on polycarbonate accessory that changes the beam pattern of Knightsbridge FL High Lumen 200W floodlights from a symmetrical flood to a 55x125° asymmetric spread. The narrower 55° axis directs light vertically or horizontally, while the wider 125° axis floods the perpendicular plane, making the lens suitable for pathway lighting, wall-washing and boundary illumination where the light needs to cover a long strip rather than a square area.
Designed for outdoor commercial, industrial and large residential installations, the asymmetric lens clips directly onto the front of the FL High Lumen 200W floodlight body without requiring tools or additional fixings. The polycarbonate construction withstands UV exposure and thermal cycling without yellowing or cracking over typical outdoor service life. Common applications include lighting long driveways or paths where a standard symmetrical beam would waste light to the sides, lighting the full width of a building facade from a low mounting position, and illuminating the length of a car park perimeter fence from a minimal number of mounting points.
The lens measures 274mm wide by 182mm high and weighs approximately 300g, adding minimal load to the floodlight mounting bracket. The polycarbonate diffuses the LED array inside the floodlight to prevent visible individual LED points while maintaining the overall lumen output and colour temperature of the base fixture. The asymmetric pattern allows a single floodlight mounted at one end of a path or wall to cover up to 15-20m of length depending on mounting height, reducing the number of fittings needed compared to using multiple symmetrical floods.

Frequently Asked
Is this compatible with other Knightsbridge floodlights?
This lens is designed specifically for the Knightsbridge FL High Lumen 200W floodlight model. It will not fit other wattages or floodlight ranges without modification.
How is the lens fitted to the floodlight?
The lens clips directly onto the front of the FL High Lumen 200W floodlight body. No tools or additional fixings are required. The lens can be removed and refitted if needed.
What's the difference between asymmetric and symmetrical beam patterns?
A symmetrical beam spreads light evenly in all directions from the centre, creating a circular coverage area. An asymmetric beam spreads light further in one axis than the other, creating an oval or elongated coverage area suited to pathways, walls and linear features.
Does the lens reduce light output?
The polycarbonate lens diffuses the LED array but does not significantly reduce total lumen output. Some minor loss occurs due to material transmission, but the functional light on the target surface is increased because the beam is concentrated where needed rather than wasted to the sides.
