Description
The Energizer LED Golf Ball is a 4.9W non-dimmable bulb with an E14 small screw base, delivering 470 lumens of 3000K warm white light. This twin pack replaces traditional 40W incandescent golf ball bulbs in table lamps, bedside lamps, chandeliers and decorative wall lights fitted with E14 sockets.
The compact golf ball shape measures 45mm in diameter and 78mm in height, making it suited to smaller lamp shades, candelabra fittings and decorative fixtures where a standard A-shape bulb would be too large. The frosted finish diffuses the LED evenly across the bulb surface, reducing glare and providing consistent light distribution without visible LED hotspots.
At 4.9W the bulb draws approximately one eighth of the power of a 40W incandescent while producing comparable light output. The 3000K colour temperature delivers a warm white tone that sits comfortably in residential spaces, hospitality settings and retail displays where warm ambient lighting is preferred over cooler daylight tones. The non-dimmable design provides stable output without flicker when used on standard switched circuits.
The bulbs carry an Energy Rating of F under the updated EU energy labelling scale, which applies stricter benchmarks than the previous A-G scale where LEDs commonly rated A+ or A++. The twin pack format reduces packaging and provides a spare bulb for paired fittings or replacement stock.

Frequently Asked
What is an E14 bulb base?
E14 is a small Edison screw base, 14mm in diameter. It is commonly used in smaller table lamps, chandeliers, wall lights and decorative fittings across Europe and the UK. E14 is distinct from the larger E27 (27mm) standard screw base.
Can this bulb be used with a dimmer switch?
No. This bulb is non-dimmable and should only be used on standard on/off switched circuits. Using it with a dimmer may cause flicker, reduced lifespan or failure.
What does 3000K warm white look like?
3000K produces a warm white light with a slight yellow cast, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It creates a comfortable ambient tone suited to living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality settings, warmer than the neutral white of 4000K or the cool daylight of 5000K-6000K.
How much energy does this save compared to a 40W incandescent?
At 4.9W this LED uses approximately 88% less energy than a 40W incandescent bulb while producing similar light output at 470 lumens. Over a typical 10,000-hour lifespan the energy saving per bulb is substantial on both electricity bills and carbon footprint.
