Description
The Energizer LED Candle Filament Bulb is a 2.5W E14 (small Edison screw) LED bulb with visible filament strips inside a clear glass candle-shaped envelope. It outputs 275 lumens at 2200K, producing a warm amber-toned light similar to incandescent bulbs from the early 20th century. The bulb measures 35mm diameter by 98mm height and draws 2.5W on 230V mains, replacing traditional 20W incandescent candles.
Designed for decorative fixtures where the bulb is visible — chandeliers, wall sconces, exposed pendant fittings, and bedside lamps with open shades — the clear glass and filament structure provide visual interest when switched off as well as when lit. The 2200K colour temperature sits below the standard warm white range (2700K-3000K), giving a more amber, fire-like glow that pairs with vintage, industrial and traditional interiors. The 320-degree beam angle spreads light omnidirectionally rather than focusing it, making the bulb suitable for ambient rather than task lighting.
The bulb is non-dimmable and should be used on standard on/off switching circuits only. Energizer rates the lifespan at 15 years based on average domestic use (approximately 15,000 hours), which significantly reduces relamping frequency compared to halogen or incandescent equivalents. The E14 base fits UK and European small Edison screw sockets commonly found in decorative ceiling lights, wall lights and table lamps.

Frequently Asked
Is this bulb dimmable?
No. The bulb is non-dimmable and must be used on standard on/off switching circuits only. Installing it on a dimmer circuit may cause flickering, reduced lifespan or failure.
What's the difference between 2200K and standard warm white?
Standard warm white LED bulbs typically output 2700K-3000K, producing a neutral warm tone. This Energizer bulb outputs 2200K, which has a more amber, fire-like quality similar to tungsten filament bulbs or candlelight. It creates a more vintage or atmospheric effect.
How bright is 275 lumens?
275 lumens is equivalent to approximately a 20W incandescent bulb. This provides ambient decorative light rather than task lighting, suitable for multi-bulb chandeliers, wall sconces, or bedside lamps where multiple bulbs are used together.
What does the 15-year lifespan mean in practice?
Energizer bases this on approximately 15,000 hours of use. At 3 hours per day, the bulb would last around 13-14 years. Actual lifespan depends on usage patterns, switching frequency and operating temperature.
