Description

The Energizer 18W LED bulkhead is a circular flush-mount fitting with an integrated LED delivering 1710 lumens at 4000K cool white. The white polycarbonate base mounts directly to external walls, porches, utility areas and stairwells, with an opal polycarbonate diffuser providing even light distribution across the 120-degree beam angle.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the fitting carries an IP65 rating against dust ingress and water jets, making it suitable for external walls, covered porches, garage interiors, communal hallways and utility rooms. The IK08 impact rating provides resistance to mechanical damage in high-traffic or exposed locations. The fitting is suitable for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3 but not zone 0 (inside the bath or shower enclosure itself).

Installation uses push-in terminals for the mains connection, eliminating the need for screwdrivers to secure cable cores. The white polycarbonate construction keeps the weight to 0.7kg, and the low-profile design sits approximately 60mm from the wall when fitted. The 95-lumens-per-watt efficacy and non-dimmable integrated LED give a consistent output across the fitting's operational life.

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, making the fitting suitable for external walls, covered porches, and garage exteriors. The IK08 impact rating provides additional mechanical protection in exposed locations.

What bathroom zones is it suitable for?

The fitting is suitable for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3. Zone 1 is the area above the bath or shower to 2.25m height, zone 2 is the area extending 0.6m outside the bath or shower, and zone 3 is elsewhere in the bathroom. It is not suitable for zone 0, which is inside the bath or shower enclosure itself.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The entire fitting is replaced at end of life.

What is the light colour like?

The 4000K colour temperature is cool white, which gives a neutral, slightly blue-toned light similar to daylight. This suits functional spaces like garages, utility rooms and external security lighting where task visibility is more important than ambient warmth.
