Description
The Elara is a 60cm industrial table lamp built around a black metal base, a curved black arm, and a gold-tinted glass dome shade housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The shade pivots on a brass-finished joint at the top of the arm, allowing the light to be angled towards a desk surface, reading position, or directed upward as ambient wash.
Designed for bedside tables, desks, console tables and side-of-sofa positions, the Elara provides directed task light without requiring a fixed wall fitting. The 30cm projection from the base to the centre of the shade means the lamp can overhang a narrow console or sit fully on a deeper desk without tipping. The gold-tinted glass softens the light output and adds warmth to interiors with wood tones, brass accents, or monochromatic palettes.
The black metal frame contrasts with the warm gold glass, giving the lamp a defined industrial aesthetic without relying on exposed cabling or Edison-style bulbs. The base weighs 2.4kg and provides stability on most surfaces. The exposed brass-finished pivot joint and the functional simplicity of the arched arm reference mid-century mechanical design without ornament.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Elara take?
The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K for desk or bedside use.
Can the shade be angled?
Yes. The gold glass dome pivots on a brass-finished joint at the top of the arm, allowing the light to be directed towards a reading position, desk surface, or angled upward onto a wall.
Is the gold finish on the glass or the metal?
The gold is a tint in the glass dome itself. The metal frame and base are black. The pivot joint at the top of the arm has a brass-finished collar that matches the gold tone of the glass.
What surface area does the base need?
The base diameter is 16cm. The 30cm projection means the lamp head extends forward from the base, so a surface depth of at least 35-40cm allows the shade to overhang without the lamp tipping.
