Description
The Eclipse is a 34cm table lamp built around a double-layered glass shade that encases a suspended inner sphere wrapped in glass filaments. A polished chrome stem and base support the glass structure, which houses a single G9 10W bulb delivering 550 lumens of warm light through the layered glass. The inner filament sphere sits centred within the outer cylindrical glass shell, creating depth and visual interest when the lamp is both lit and unlit.
Designed for bedside tables, side tables in living rooms, and desks in home offices, the Eclipse works where accent lighting and sculptural form are both needed. The 12cm width and 15cm depth occupy a small footprint, making it suitable for compact bedside tables and narrow console surfaces. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light during the day and pairs with contemporary, mid-century and modern interiors that use metallic accents.
The dual-layer glass construction gives the lamp a 1kg weight despite its delicate appearance, providing stability on most surfaces. The G9 bulb (included) sits inside the inner filament sphere, so light diffuses through the glass threads before passing through the outer cylindrical shade. This layered diffusion softens the light output and reduces glare, making it comfortable for use near seating or sleeping areas. The chrome base has a low profile that keeps the lamp stable without adding visual bulk.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Eclipse use?
The lamp takes a single G9 capsule bulb, which is included. The supplied bulb is 10W and delivers 550 lumens. Replacement G9 bulbs are widely available in warm white, cool white and dimmable variants.
Is the lamp dimmable?
Dimming depends on the bulb. The lamp itself is compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs when paired with a compatible dimmer switch on the mains circuit. The included bulb may or may not be dimmable — check the bulb packaging or replace with a dimmable G9 if dimming is required.
How is the glass cleaned?
Switch off and allow the bulb to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the outer glass cylinder and chrome base with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For the inner filament sphere, use a small soft brush or compressed air to remove dust from between the glass threads. Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the lamp.
What surface does the chrome base need?
The chrome base sits flat and stable on most hard surfaces including wood, laminate, MDF and glass. On polished surfaces the base may benefit from small felt pads (not included) to prevent micro-scratches during repositioning.
