Description

The Duceri is a 3W LED emergency exit sign designed for ceiling suspension, displaying a left-pointing running man legend on a green backlit acrylic panel. The sign operates in maintained mode, meaning the LED illumination runs continuously on mains power and automatically switches to battery backup during a power failure. The integrated 3.6V 900mAh Ni-Cd battery provides 3 hours of emergency illumination at 44 lumens.

Designed for commercial, retail and public building compliance with BS EN 60598-2-22, the sign hangs from a ceiling-mounted backplate on two adjustable suspension wires that allow the legend to be positioned up to 650mm below the ceiling. The 24m viewing distance makes it suitable for corridors, lobbies, large open-plan offices and retail floors where exit routes need clear marking from distance. The polycarbonate frame carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry environments.

The 190 x 300mm legend uses 16 SMD 2835 LEDs behind the acrylic panel to produce an even 5500K cool white backlight that renders the green and white graphics clearly under both mains and emergency operation. Mains output is 60 lumens; emergency output drops to 44 lumens to extend battery duration. The sign includes charge and discharge protection circuitry to prevent battery damage from overcharge or deep discharge, extending battery service life. The complete assembly weighs 1.2kg including the backplate and suspension hardware.
