Description

The ESP Duceri is a 14W IP65-rated emergency bulkhead housing 84 SMD 2835 LEDs inside a white polycarbonate circular housing measuring 330mm diameter and 110mm deep. In maintained mode, the fitting operates as a standard ceiling or wall light on mains power (1207 lumens at 5500K), and automatically switches to emergency mode during mains failure, delivering 285 lumens for 3 hours from the internal 6V 1800mAh Ni-Cd battery.

Designed for commercial, industrial and residential installations requiring compliant emergency lighting, the Duceri suits corridors, stairwells, car parks, storage areas and external covered zones where both functional lighting and emergency backup are needed in a single fitting. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets, making the bulkhead suitable for outdoor canopies, warehouses, bathrooms and shower rooms. Wall or ceiling mounting uses the integral back plate and two fixing points.

The polycarbonate housing resists impact damage and withstands temperature variation better than acrylic alternatives. A green LED indicator on the front confirms that the battery is charging and the emergency function is operational. The charge and discharge protection circuitry prevents battery degradation from over-discharge, extending the service life of the internal battery pack. The 5500K colour temperature gives a cool daylight-white light output that maintains visibility in functional spaces. The fitting meets BS EN 60598-2-22 for emergency lighting luminaires.
