The Knightsbridge GDM016BN is a dual USB charger module with two USB-A ports delivering 5V DC at 2.4A shared output, designed to fit Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames. The module occupies two adjacent grid positions and provides simultaneous charging for two devices without needing dedicated socket outlets.

Designed for residential and commercial Grid installations where USB charging is needed alongside switched sockets or other Grid modules, the charger sits flush within a Grid frame and draws power from the mains supply feeding the frame. The black nickel finish provides a dark metallic accent that pairs with both contemporary and traditional Grid plate finishes. The module is certified to EN 62368-1:2014+A11:2017 for safe operation in indoor environments rated IP20.

The charger module measures 50mm wide by 56.3mm high and requires a minimum 35mm back box depth for installation. The shared 2.4A output means the total current is split between both ports when two devices are connected simultaneously, so charging speed depends on how many devices draw power at once. The ABS and steel construction gives structural rigidity within the Grid frame while keeping the module lightweight enough for multi-gang frames.
