Description

The Dione is an 86cm linear island chandelier with seven G9 bulb fittings enclosed within a polished chrome frame bordered by vertical crystal prisms. Each prism runs the full 28cm height of the shade, creating a continuous curtain of cut crystal that refracts light from the seven internal bulbs and casts prismatic patterns across the surfaces below.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Dione provides both task and decorative light. The 86cm length suits islands between 1.2-1.8m wide, with the pendant typically suspended 700-850mm above the worktop or table surface. The seven G9 bulbs (sold separately, max 33W combined) allow control over brightness and colour temperature depending on the bulbs chosen.

The polished chrome frame reflects ambient light and intensifies the crystal prisms' refraction, creating a brighter, more dynamic effect than chrome-free crystal chandeliers. The rectangular frame measures 86cm x 28cm, giving the fitting a substantial presence without the visual weight of a traditional chandelier. What bulbs does the Dione take?

The fitting takes seven G9 capsule bulbs with a combined maximum load of 33W. G9 LED bulbs rated at 3-5W each in 2700K-3000K warm white are the most common pairing for this style of crystal chandelier. Bulbs are sold separately.

What size island or table does it suit?

The 86cm length works best over kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.2-1.8m wide. For longer islands above 2m, consider pairing two Dione pendants in a row or choosing a longer single fitting.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal prism with a dry microfibre cloth, working from top to bottom. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or leaving water pooled on the chrome.

Can it be fitted to a sloped ceiling?

The suspension cables allow minor angle adjustment on slopes up to approximately 15 degrees. Steeper slopes may require a sloped ceiling adapter or alternative mounting hardware not included with the fitting.
