The Dauren V2 is a 2-light solid brass wall light with a vertically elongated backplate decorated with floral and acanthus leaf motifs in raised relief, finished in polished brass. Two curved arms extend from the central column, each terminating in a drip tray and candle sleeve housing an SES (E14) bulb rated up to 60W per socket. The backplate measures 33cm height by 24.5cm width, projecting 13cm from the wall when fitted.

Designed for traditional, period and classical interiors, the Dauren V2 works in hallways flanking mirrors or doorways, in dining rooms as paired sconces on opposing walls, and in bedrooms as bedside lighting where wall-mounted fittings replace table lamps. The dual-arm configuration provides enough light output for ambient room lighting when paired with appropriate bulbs, while the candle-sleeve styling gives the appearance of historic candlelit wall sconces without the maintenance overhead of real flame.

The polished brass finish brings out the depth of the relief detailing on the backplate and creates reflective highlights that shift with changing room light throughout the day. At 0.80kg the fitting has enough weight to feel substantial without requiring reinforced wall fixings beyond standard UK cavity wall anchors. The Dauren V2 takes two SES (E14) candle bulbs, rated up to 60W each. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional incandescent glow without the heat output. Bulbs are sold separately.

Yes. Solid brass can be re-polished using brass polish and a soft cloth to restore the original high shine. Alternatively, the fitting can be left to develop a natural patina over time, which darkens the recessed details and gives an antique appearance.
