Description

The Coral is a 35cm diameter pendant light built around three vertical columns of clear glass rods housed within a matt gold metal frame. Each of the three columns surrounds an E14 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), with the vertical ribbed glass diffracting light both outward through the frame and downward onto the surface below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars where task and ambient light are both needed, the Coral sits 600-800mm above the surface depending on chain adjustment. The 47cm height (body only, excluding chain) gives the pendant enough presence to anchor a 1.4-1.8m table without overwhelming smaller rooms. The triple-column structure casts layered light patterns onto walls and ceilings when lit, adding visual texture beyond simple downlight.

The matt gold finish on the metal frame has a low-sheen satin quality that pairs comfortably with both warm brass tones and cooler brushed nickel or chrome elsewhere in the room. The vertical glass rods are individually set into the top and bottom rings of each column, creating a ribbed cage effect that softens the bulb glare while allowing the E14 filament or LED shape to remain visible. At 5.4kg the pendant requires a secure ceiling fixing and standard UK ceiling rose.

What bulbs does the Coral take?

The pendant takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K. Filament-style LED bulbs work well as the bulb shape remains visible through the glass rods.

How high should it hang above a dining table?

For a dining table, the bottom of the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface. This provides adequate task light without obstructing sightlines across the table. Adjust the chain length during installation to suit your ceiling height and table dimensions.

Can multiple Coral pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The 35cm diameter allows two or three Coral pendants to be installed in a row above a kitchen island or longer dining table, spaced 600-800mm apart centre-to-centre. This creates continuous light coverage across the surface.

How is the glass cleaned?

The vertical glass rods can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth when the power is isolated and the bulbs are cool. For more stubborn marks, a glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth (not sprayed directly onto the fitting) and the rods wiped individually.
