Description

The Convertix is a polished gold ceiling rose with a concentric stepped profile, measuring approximately 100mm diameter. The rose features two circular tiers—a shallow outer ring and a raised central cone—both finished in high-polish gold that catches and reflects room light. A central 10mm aperture accepts the pendant cable and provides the fixing point for single pendant lights.

Designed to conceal ceiling wiring and provide a finished anchor point for pendant installations, the Convertix suits dining rooms, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where a pendant light needs a visible ceiling canopy. The rose installs over a standard UK ceiling junction box or ceiling plate, with the raised central cone covering the fixing screws and electrical connections. The polished gold finish pairs with brass pendant cables, warm-toned flex and filament bulbs, and works across mid-century, Art Deco, classical and high-contrast modern interiors where metallic accents define the scheme.

The stepped profile adds visual weight to the ceiling canopy without adding significant projection—the rose sits approximately 15mm proud of the ceiling surface once installed. The high-polish finish shows fingerprints during handling, so fit with clean hands or cotton gloves. The gold tone is warmer than polished brass, with a yellower hue that suits spaces decorated in ochre, terracotta, forest green and navy rather than cooler greys and whites.

Does it work with braided flex pendants?

Yes. The central aperture accepts standard pendant cables including braided fabric flex, twisted silk flex and round PVC flex. The rose conceals the ceiling junction box and provides a finished canopy around the cable entry point.

How is the finish maintained?

The polished gold finish shows fingerprints and dust. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For tarnish or marks, use a metal polish suitable for brass or gold-plated fittings, applied sparingly and buffed off immediately.

Can it be used with multiple pendants?

No. The Convertix is a single-light ceiling rose with one central aperture. For multi-pendant installations, use a multi-outlet ceiling plate or separate ceiling roses spaced across the ceiling.
