Citronic Padded Travel Bag for 12" Moulded Speakers

The Citronic padded travel bag is a protective carrying case for 12" moulded PA speaker cabinets, built from rugged padded fabric with reinforced stitching at stress points. The bag measures 630 x 440 x 400mm internally and fits most standard 12" moulded cabinet designs including active and passive models. Velcro access flaps on the side and rear allow the speaker's carry handles, top-hat mounting socket and rear terminals to remain accessible without removing the bag entirely.

Designed for mobile DJs, musicians and event technicians moving speakers between venues, the bag guards against scratches, knocks and dust accumulation during transport and storage. The padded construction absorbs light impacts without adding excessive bulk, and the bag can remain fitted to the speaker during use if needed, offering limited protection from rain or stage-side spills. The Velcro closures mean the bag can be opened and re-sealed repeatedly without wear to zips or buckles.

The fabric shell is water-resistant rather than waterproof, so the bag provides protection against brief exposure to moisture but should not be relied upon for prolonged outdoor use in heavy rain. The black finish hides scuffs and road wear better than lighter colours. The bag adds approximately 20mm of padding around each face of the cabinet, giving enough protection for van transport, flight case stacking and typical venue handling without the weight and cost of a hard case.

Will this fit my 12" speaker?

The bag fits most standard 12" moulded PA cabinets with external dimensions up to approximately 610 x 420 x 380mm. Measure your speaker's height, width and depth before ordering — cabinets with protruding corner protection or unusual shapes may not fit.

Can I use the speaker while the bag is on?

Yes. The Velcro access flaps allow the carry handles, top-hat socket and rear panel terminals to be accessed without removing the bag. This is useful for short outdoor events where the bag provides limited weather protection while the speaker is in use.

Is the bag waterproof?

No. The fabric is water-resistant and will shed light rain or splashes, but the bag is not sealed and should not be relied upon for prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion. It is primarily designed to protect against dust, dirt and impacts during transport.

Does it have a carry handle or strap?

The bag uses Velcro flaps to access the speaker's own carry handles rather than providing separate carrying straps. This means you carry the bagged speaker using the cabinet's built-in handles through the openings in the bag.
