Description

The Centric is a 45x45cm square cushion in burnt orange cotton with a raised circular tufted motif at the centre and fringed edges on all four sides. The tufting creates a tactile relief pattern approximately 200mm in diameter, with individual loops of yarn knotted through the base fabric to build up the circular design. The fringe extends 30-40mm beyond the seamed edge of the cushion on all sides.

Designed for sofas, beds and accent chairs where texture and colour are needed without pattern complexity, the Centric works in both contemporary and traditional interiors. The burnt orange tone sits between terracotta and rust, pairing comfortably with neutral greys, warm browns, cream and natural wood finishes. The cushion includes a polyester filler, so it arrives ready to use without needing a separate inner.

The cotton outer is a coarse weave that shows the natural texture of the fibre, giving the cushion a handmade appearance despite being machine-produced. At 0.6kg filled weight, the cushion has enough substance to hold its shape when propped against a sofa arm or headboard without feeling overstuffed. The tufted circle and fringed edge add visual interest to plain cushion arrangements without requiring additional decorative elements.

Is the filler included?

Yes. The cushion comes with a polyester filler already inserted, so it's ready to use on arrival. The filler is not removable for washing.

Can the cover be washed?

The filler is sewn into the cotton outer, so the entire cushion would need to be washed rather than just the cover. Spot-clean with a damp cloth where possible. If machine-washing is necessary, use a gentle cycle at 30°C and air-dry flat to avoid shrinkage and to preserve the tufting.
